Keto Chili w/ Ground Beef
A very tasty, beanless, chili that even your picky eaters will love. Full of ground beef, peppers and onions.
Servings: 6 people
Ingredients
- 3 lb Ground Beef
- 4 stalks celery finely diced
- 1 medium green bell pepper finely diced
- 1 medium red bell pepper finely diced
- 1 medium yellow onion finely diced
- 1 cup tomatoes finely diced, about 2 medium
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 14.5 oz can crushed tomatoes in puree
- 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1-3 Tbsp chili powder 1 = mild, 3 = spicy
- 2 tsp erythritol or monk fruit granulated sweetener
- 1 Tbsp sea salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown ground beef until just done.
- To the pot with beef, add the onions, celery, bell peppers, and tomatoes. Cook over medium-high heat for another five minutes.
- Now add the tomato juice, crushed tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and all the seasonings. Cover the pot and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
